After a lengthy recruitment process, we reached an agreement on Thursday, May 7, with Johan Lindvall of Visby to serve as the new CEO of Kronholmen Golf AB and Club Manager of Visby Golf Club.
The selection process has taken some time. This is partly due to the large number of applicants—40 in total—and partly because the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has made it difficult to hold in-person meetings with the applicants. In several cases, we have opted to hold virtual meetings.

At the same time, it’s important to have great respect for what Visby Golf Club stands for and to keep the members’ best interests in mind. I’m confident that we’ve found these qualities in Johan Lindvall.
Johan says he is very happy to have been given the opportunity, amid fierce competition, to take on the task of leading and developing Visby Golf Club, one of the best golf courses in the Nordic region.
Johan will assume his position on September 1, 2020, and until then, I will continue to serve as acting CEO on a part-time basis.
