Our full-length 9-hole course was also designed by the Fulke/Mednickson team. The course is open with standard tees and greens year-round, as long as there is no frost or snow. It’s a truly excellent and challenging golf course where it’s usually easy to get a tee time. Children, juniors, and beginners taking lessons at Visby Golf Club are also welcome to play on the 9-hole course.

• We only take reservations for 18 holes per day; additional rounds can be booked on a first-come, first-served basis on the same day.

• As a member or guest, you must always check in digitally on your phone, at the terminal, or at the front desk before your start time.
• 50% off for juniors.
• Senior members with Gold Access (starting the year you turn 26) are entitled to bring guests at a discounted green fee. The member has 15 discounts of 200 kronor each at their disposal. Members may use a maximum of 5 discounts per guest and offer discounts to a maximum of 3 guests per round. The discount may not exceed 50% of the current green fee. The discount may be used on both the 18-hole and 9-hole courses. Cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.
• Senior members with Gold Access may bring a guest after 3:00 p.m. for 1,000 SEK (up to 3 guests at the same time and with the same tee time). The member must play with their guests and must be present at check-in. Cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.
• Discount for members of other Gotland clubs.
• A cart and course guide are included free of charge for green fee guests.
• Golf carts are available for rent and can be reserved through golf.se. 
• Please pay your green fee on Min golf before your round.

VISBY GOLF CLUB'S POLICY REGARDING INTRODUCTORY CARDS, PGA, GAF, SGA, AND MERIT BADGES

Visby Golf Club has chosen not to participate in the Swedish Golf Federation’s (SGF) introductory card program.

Holders of the SGF Introductory Card and members with PGA, SGA, or GAF cards are not eligible for a green fee discount.

Holders of merit badges (Gold Badge, Elite Badge, Silver Badge, or Gold Club) are entitled to one complimentary round of golf per year. Holders of any of these awards must contact the club well in advance to obtain approval to play.

The following local rules apply to all play at the club unless otherwise specified for a specific competition. From time to time, temporary local rules may apply, and these will be posted.

1. Out of Bounds (Rule 18.2)
   a. The course boundary is marked by white stakes and a boundary fence with posts topped with white caps
   b. Internal out of bounds for holes 10 and 6 (Safety) A ball that, after being teed off from any of the tees on holes 10 and 6, comes to rest on the closely mowed portion of the fairway on holes 18 and 3, respectively, is out of bounds. The boundary is not marked on the course. Play a new ball by stroke and distance.
   
2. Yellow Penalty Area/Red Penalty Area (Rule 17)
   a. Unmarked ditches, ponds, streams, brooks, or other bodies of water are red penalty areas.
   b. The red penalty area to the right on hole 11, which is defined on only one side, is infinite.
   c. If a ball is in, or if it is known or virtually certain that a ball that cannot be found is in, the penalty area on hole 17, the player may proceed under Rule 17.1 or, as an additional option, drop a ball with one stroke penalty in the drop zone consisting of the front part of tee 41 (hole 17), even if this drop zone is closer to the hole than the point where the ball last crossed the boundary of the penalty area.
   d. If, after a stroke from the tee on hole 18, the player does not know whether the player’s ball is in the left-hand penalty area, the player may play a provisional ball from the tee under Rule 18.3.
   When playing the provisional ball, the player may only use the stroke-and-distance relief option.
   After the player has played a provisional ball under this Rule, the player may not use any further option under Rule 17.1 with respect to the original ball.
   If the original ball is found outside the area of obligation, the player must continue with that ball. If the original ball is found within the area of obligation, the player may either play the original ball as it lies or continue play with the provisional ball. If the original ball has not been found within three minutes of searching, the player must continue with the ball played as a provisional ball.
   
3. Abnormal Course Conditions (Rule 16.1)
   a. Areas marked with blue stakes.
   b. Ant hills.
   c. The landmark on hole 5 of the 9-hole course, marked with blue-and-white stakes, is a no-play zone
   
4. Immovable Obstructions (Rule 16.1)
   a, Relief from the interference of an immovable man-made object may be taken. See Model Local Rule 5.1. A ball on the closely mowed part of the course may take relief under Rule 16.1 if an immovable man-made object is 1) on the line of play, 2) on or within two club-lengths of the green, or 3) within two club-lengths of the ball. All three conditions must be met for relief.
   b, Areas whose boundaries are defined by white spray lines that connect to areas defined as immovable obstructions have the same status as the obstruction and are not ground under repair.
   c, Young trees and shrubs that have support stakes or netting around the trunk.
   d, Racks for bunker rakes. (in or adjacent to the bunker)
   e, Stairs in a bunker
   f, Rubber mats
   g, Distance markers
   h, Sighting stakes on holes 3 and 6 of the 18-hole course.

PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF A LOCAL RULE (unless otherwise specified in the local rule):
Match Play – Lost hole; Stroke Play – Two strokes
